Eco-Friendly Fabrication – In light of a growing movement towards sustainability and minimizing our impact on our delicate ecosystems, Trigelle carefully chooses fiber textiles that are natural and ecologically friendly.  Bamboo and modal are textile fibers designed into Trigelle’s high-end sweaters and knit tops. 

Bamboo grass is arguably one of the world’s best sustainable resources. With a growth rate of up to a meter or more per day, bamboo holds the world record as the fastest growing plant. And, bamboo is actually not a wood but a grass, continuously sending up new shoots after harvesting without the need for replanting, resulting in an organic, biodegradable, and sustainable resource. When produced into textile goods, this durable and highly tenacious grass forms into a naturally breathable, moisture wicking, anti-microbial, apparel with natural ultraviolet (UV) and odor protecting qualities.

Modal is an ecologically sound cellulose fiber made of 100% beech wood and produced with the highest environmental standards. Lenzing Modal® is a raw material purer and stronger than cotton, resulting in a natural wicking function and higher moisture absorbency. Lenzing Modal® is blended with cotton to produce all of Trigelle’s fabulously designed knit tops. 

Technical Properties and Functional Design – Trigelle is a perfect balance of design and function.  The collections are fashionably transitional, but highly functional both by design and added technical properties.  With the use of bamboo and modal fabrics and processes during the fabric development stage, all of Trigelle’s tops have UV protection, are highly moisture absorbent, breathable, and has anti-bacterial properties that eliminates odor naturally.  Superb natural qualities of bamboo and Lenzing Modal® have higher moisture absorbency than that of 100% cotton, which when combined with Trigelle’s designs, result in beautifully crafted sweater and knit pieces that prevent the fabric from sticking to your skin and keeps you cool on hot summer days.  Additionally, Trigelle’s tops have UV protection of up to SPF 50, further protecting ladies from the harmful rays of the sun.

All fabrications stretch with either Lycra® or spandex, providing the golfer with the flexibility to improve her swing.  All bottoms contain signature side welt pockets for tees, divot fixers, hair ties, and the like, as well as flapless back pockets big enough for scorecards. Bottoms are curved at the waistband, reducing the amount of gaping at center back, especially when squatting.  As if all these technical and functional properties weren’t enough, Trigelle remains authentic to its golf roots by using their LPGA sponsored professionals as their official “R&D” department.  Any and all suggestions given by these professional athletes are considered and addressed during the design phase.  What results is a highly fashionable and functional golf brand that provides a great fit for females of all ages and sizes.
